PRAYER
We believe that prayer is the heartbeat of Enjoy Church. As we pray we encounter the power and presence of God. Prayer simply transforms us, our church community, and God’s world.
You can find multiple ways to participate in, or receive, prayer below. We would also love to celebrate any praise reports with you.
One of the ways we unite as a community to prayer is by using the ‘Prayer Shield’, covering significant areas on a daily basis.
From Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th September, as a church we will be laying everything down again and focussing on a week of prayer and fasting. Join us as we devote ourselves to God afresh.
Join us for a week of prayer and fasting from Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th September as we commit this next season to the Lord. If you are able to join us for the ‘Daniel Fast’, then there is some helpful information below.
Fasting awakens our body and soul to our deep hunger and need for God. It’s one of the most powerful practices which Jesus engaged in and taught us. As we choose to follow in the way of Jesus, we see the importance of becoming more like Jesus.
Fasting helps us grow in holiness, it amplifies our prayers, and to helps us to stand with the poor.
We understand that it may not always be possible to complete a full Daniel fast for health or personal reasons, but we would encourage you to start on that journey of fasting in a way that you are able to manage.

Prayer Gatherings
Prayer and Praise
Each month, we hold a Prayer and Praise gathering, with time to worship and pray. These currently take place in person at our Avon Way Hall location and it provides a great opportunity for us to come together as a church to seek the tangible presence of God. The dates are profiled within our services and we invite all who call Enjoy Church ‘their church’ to prioritise these times together.
Prayer and Fasting
We hold regular periods of Prayer and Fasting throughout the year, including our 21 Days of Prayer each January, and then, typically we will hold ‘3 Days of Prayer & Fasting’ each quarter. These are really significant times for us as church, as we set time aside to seek the Lord on a deeper level.
For our 21 Days of Prayer, we prepare a helpful guide, with various Prayer Points, including our corporate pattern for prayer called our ‘Prayer Shield’ which give us a corporate focus as we unite in prayer.

Prayer Team
Many members of the Enjoy Church serve as part of our Prayer Team. This team is dedicated to praying for all who belong to Enjoy Church and pray for its ministries or specific matters as they arise. The Prayer Team receives monthly updates and also urgent requests by email or text.
