OUR SENIOR PASTORS
Chris & Sarah James are our Senior Pastors of Enjoy Church. They have been married for over 20 years and have four children Joel, Caleb, Ezekiel and Phoebe. They are passionate about living life to the full, and empower others to do the same.
In May 2010, they began the journey of pioneering what is known as Enjoy Church.
Enjoy Church has grown from 6 people to strong worshipping community which is gathering people for North Somerset and Bristol.
Together they love building church, going on family adventures and spending time with their friends.
THE VISION
“Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2
THE MISSION
Is to show people who Jesus is! Enjoy Church believe that if you are seeking a life changing encounter with God then this revelation is found in who Jesus is. As John 1:4 – 18 says, “And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” …….We see God by seeing Jesus.

Values statement. We fulfill our vision by:
- pursuing the tangible presence and power of God,
- practicing authentic discipleship in the ways of Jesus,
- and living on sacrificial mission for the transformation of society.
PRAYER
We believe that prayer is the heartbeat of Enjoy Church. As we pray, we encounter the power and presence of God. Prayer simply transforms us, our church community, and God’s world.
We are practicing counter-formation by learning how to walk daily in the way of Jesus, and not in the ways of the world.
COMMUNITY
Community groups offer us all a chance to participate in God’s church and use our gifts in the strengthening of one another, allowing us to pursue the adventure of faith together and show the world who Jesus is.

GIVING
We believe that giving is part of our worship. It shouldn’t be something we do out of a sense of duty or persuasion. Generosity is a natural response when we encounter the generosity that God has poured on us.
ALPHA
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different questions around faith and is designed to create conversation.
