On Bank Holiday Monday, there were 37 dedicated volunteers who gave their time and energy to transform the overgrown pathways into a clear, defined walkway leading to the outdoor learning space.
The team cleared a significant amount of rubble, levelled the ground, and created a safer, more welcoming environment. Together, we created a logged seating area, improved the fire pit, and constructed a new log store to support future use of the area.
We repurposed old sinks found on site to plant a variety of herbs. In keeping with our school vision – Dream Big, Do Your Best, Give Back – we placed words of affirmation throughout the area, creating a positive and reflective atmosphere for everyone who visits.
It was a privilege to be part of such a passionate and hardworking team. The result is a lovely, usable space that we hope students will enjoy.
