// One Church, Four Locations  |  The Story

New Mills Revival Church, High Peak, was started in April 1995 (then called Christian Revival Church), we are now an established church playing a key role in the local community.

In May 2009 New Mills Revival Church sent a team to City on a Hill Family Church, Stalybridge which was at that time facing imminent closure. The first week  just 6 people came to woship! But steady growth over the coming weeks saw Revival Church take over and we then became One Church in Two Locations.

Revival Church:Stalybridge congregation is now a thriving church and outreach centre. We have grown to over 70 members and are active in  reaching out to the community in Tameside.

Easter 2011 saw us become One Church in Three Locations with the launch of Revival Church:Hyde as our second centre in Tameside. Offering a different flavour of church, Revival Church Hyde is very much aimed at Young Families, and each service is accompanied by our Kids Life Kanga & Team!

On Sunday 4th September 2011, we  launched our forth site in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, to become One Church Four Locations. We also run a kids programme at our 6.00pm evening service.

// Revival Church In The Community

Each Revival Church centre is actively involved in the community, running thriving Kids Ministries (Kids Life & Royal Rangers), as well as services in Nursing Homes, holding weekly Connect Groups. We also run a CAP (Christians Against Poverty – www.capuk.org) debt counselling service from our New Mills Offices.

We are involved with the Street Pastors Team in Stalybridge (www.streetpastors.org.uk), and every week run The Lighthouse, which provides a hot meal and a message of hope and truth for the homeless.

We are in the process of setting up a ROC Cafe with Redeeming our Communities (www.redeemingourcommunities.org.uk), as well as a Pregnancy Advice Clinic.

// Revival Church Abroad

As well as the work here in the UK, we run Revive a Life (www.revivealifeuganda.org.uk) - a charity that offers hope to the orphan children and vulnerable adults of Uganda, as well as running a Medical Centre that is used by over 15,000 people every year!
