We want to keep this as informal as possible but to avoid any confusion here are some guidelines for how the awards will operate:

1. The rules governing the New Mills Honour Awards  (NMHA), are established by the NMHA team, comprised of members of Revival Church.
2. The Award Team will have the responsibility for determining eligibility for nominations in all categories and their decisions are final.
3. The winner from each category will be chosen by a Panel consisting of members of the New Mills community, and sponsors of the event. Their decision is final.
4. Any Award Team or Panel members or sponsors must declare any relationship with the nominees.
5. If you win an award you will not be eligible to be nominated for the following three years after receiving your award.
6. To be eligible you must be making your contribution to the community in New Mills or immediate surrounding area (Birch Vale, Hague Bar, Thornsett, Newtown)
• You would normally be a resident of the town or surrounding area.
• For the Extra Mile award you are likely to be employed in the town.
