Street Pastors

Revival Church is involved with a national organisation called Street Pastors in Stalybridge. The Stalybridge Street Pastors started on 9th July 2010 following a well attended Commissioning Service at Holy Trinity church in the town. There are 16 in the current team and we are blessed to have 19 Prayer Pastors who pray for us either at our base in Stalybridge or at home on the nights the team goes out.

We work in partnership with the police and other agencies and really value their help and support. We currently meet every Friday (apart from the 4th weekend which is a Saturday) at 9pm and go out on the streets until 2 am. We are hoping this will extend to 3 am from September 2010 and to be able to go out on both Fridays and Saturdays from June 2011. To this aim we hope to recruit more volunteers to commence training in February.
